Purpose: At Your Service Ministry (ASYM) is an
extension of God’s hands to the people. We are the front line and
take a personal approach to meeting and greeting people when they
arrive at HOPE in the spirit of Christian love and devotion. We
ensure worshippers are ushered on and off the premises in a courteous,
safe and expeditious manner. We provide an atmosphere of warmth
and acceptance by extending loving gestures of hospitality to all.
Goals/Objectives: : We welcome every person who enters through the
doors of HOPE and want you to be comfortable in the Lord’s House.
Focus Areas: We help and serve people before and after church by
greeting, seating, directing parking lot traffic and providing a
comfortable, safe and secure atmosphere. AYSM includes the following

Purpose: The Covenant Care Ministry is to be a
source of support and encouragement to the members of HOPE Church Pearland (HOPE) who are facing sickness, affliction, bereavement,
or in need of natal care support.
Goals/Objectives: The goals of the Covenant Care Ministry are to:
• Ensure that the members of HOPE and their families experience
true love and caring from the body of believer
• Periodically go out into the community and share the God’s word
and to show our community that we care
Focus Areas: The focus of the ministry is on members and their immediate
families e.g. spouse, children, parents, and/or siblings.
Getting Involved: Members of HOPE can participate in a variety of
ways. All it takes is a caring spirit and a willing heart.

Purpose: To teach the seven basic tenets of discipleship
and they are:

The Discipleship Training class welcomes ALL to the disciple-making
process at HOPE Church Pearland (HOPE).
Goals/Objectives: The class is offered quarterly to help encourage,
educate and employ the principles of Godly living. Lead by various
HOPE discipleship counselors, these classes focus on the seven basic
tenets of discipleship.
Focus Areas: To help HOPE members live a hope-filled life.

the elderly, handing out “Food For Thought” and HOPE to the homeless
and Youth Witnessing Projects.

committed to interceding through prayer and intercession in order

Goals/Objectives: The goals of the Partners in Warfare Prayer Ministry
are to:
• To exalt, magnify and glorify the Lord through prayer and praise.
• To intercede collectively as a prayer ministry for the church,
the church body, the ministries, church leaders, Pastor and First
Lady, community and government.
• To bond together as a ministry and to pray for one another.

Partners in Warfare

Goals/Objectives:
To recognize that each season in our life has a purpose and that
we need not be restless in our current state. Instead we can utilize
this opportunity to expound on the God-given potential within us.
Philippians 4:11-13, Ecclesiastes 3:1.
To encourage Godly/healthy self image and reiterate God’s desire
for us to be whole and maintain a relationship with Him. It first
starts with loving God and loving ourselves. Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew
19:19.
To reinstate that “single” does not “lonely” by providing fellowship,
encouragement and support to those who are unmarried. Hebrews 10:24-25.
To enhance the positive aspects of life which will replace the stigma
felt with being a single adult -never married, widowed or divorced
(We are all God’s children and he loves us; thus, all shame felt
from being single should be released). Romans 8:31-39.
To encourage accountability and steadfastness in life as a Christian
single. Proverbs 27:17.

Focus Areas: We focus on reinforcing in children that God is active
in their lives. Through many fun events such as interactive stories,
games, videos, rap sessions,

place for all women to develop and sustain healthy relationships
with God, their families and in the community.
Goals/Objectives: Women of HOPE plan and coordinate Ladies Night
Out fellowships, Women Bible Study, seminars and an annual Women’s
Conference with the expressed purpose of changing lives of each
woman who attends.
